Magic Carpet Ride by Wes Smith

Hi friends….my third studio album, Magic Carpet Ride, is on the loose.  Albums are always special to me because unlike a club banger or EP of singles, an album is a cohesive collection of work that flows from end to end (and meant to be listened to that way) around a fun idea.

Like my previous two albums, there’s a lot of ghetto funk and hip hop influence wrapped up with an arsenal of current EDM and Bass heavy sounds.  So kick back in your favorite lawn chair, bust it out buy the pool, or put it on repeat for that road trip…most of all, have fun.  Oh, and thanks for all your support over the years;)

Official label blurb as well as the Promo Mix, The Armory Mix, and Other fun stuff here [Link]!

Magic Carpet Ride is a journey through the vast ocean of influences that have shaped Wes Smith’s party rockin’ audio landscape.  I’m Trippin’ kicks off the ride with a taste of Summertime funk.  Yabadabbadoo and Rock the Jam continue the low end hustle and drop you off at the upbeat vocals of Body Move.  All About The Funk and Feels Good bring the four to the floor vibes pushing you squarely into the breakbeat rhythms on Back Again.  Before you surface, the ragga vibe on Murdera sends you on one more deep dive before blazing out on Down Town.

Table Top Racing World Tour Released on Xbox One Today

Yo Squad….it’s my birthday…and as many of you know, the Table Top Racing World Tour Video Game has been a huge project for 2016/2017.  For a limited time, as in TODAY, you can get the full soundtrack mix and singles totally FREE😉 Go here [Link] and use the coupon code [YODAY].  Yes that’s right, the mix my by myself and DJ ShOOey plus all 39 tracks of funk filled bass heavy goodness from yours truly and a gaggle of pals including Dub Pistols, DJ Fixx, Dubaxface, Mutantbreaks and many more.

Now, today is a special day for gamers too as my friends at Playrise Digital are releasing it today on Xbox.  The Xbox One release follows the game’s launch on PlayStation 4 and PC in May 2016.

The Xbox One version includes all content released to date. The fanbase was split on previous platforms because you could only host and play multiplayer games with others who had the same DLC packs. There’s also voice-com support in multiplayer races and lobbies.

wes-got

There are two major differences that make Table Top Racing: World Tour on Xbox One stand apart from its previous incarnations:

1. Playrise have rolled all the content released to date into one awesome value bundle. On previous platforms, players could only host and play multi-player games with other users that had the same DLC packs. Multiplayer ‘fragmentation’ will not be an issue for Xbox One gamers.

2. Playrise have added voice-com support in multiplayer races and lobbies – how better to celebrate a crushing victory than to taunt a rival with a good bit of banter?!

Table Top Racing: World Tour has already been downloaded over 4.5 million times across both Steam for Windows PC and PlayStation® Network for PlayStation®4 since its launch in 2016. Table Top Racing: World Tour has proudly earned itself an average of 4.23 out of 5 stars from over 25,000 ratings on the PlayStation® Network.

In addition to the extensive single player mode, players can jump online and challenge up to 8 friends with the vindictive-yet-addictive multi-player combat mode. Find out who is the ultimate Table Top Racer!

Pint-Sized, Powered-Up Racing has never looked so good or been this much fun!
